XZS was founded in 1956 as one of the major comprehensive scientific research institutes of the pre–Ministry of Machinery Industry, following nearly fifty years development, XZS has evolved into a fully-equipped giant design and research institute specialized in metallurgy, rolling, forging, environmental protection equipment, electro-mechanic-hydraulic equipment and fundamental elements, up to now XZS has 14 professional design & research departments, 4 subsidiaries including Shanghai XZS, and 4 equipment/ machinery manufacturing facilities, staffing more than 1000 people, of which more than 700 are engineers or technicians,
